Really? A Month and a Half??

Has it really been a month and a half since I last wrote???  I suppose it has been.  Things have turned not so great since I last wrote.  I fell off the wagon, so to speak. *shakes head*  It's sad but true.  I'm back to 225 and mad at myself for letting it happen.  I have no one to blame but myself.  I have been going out to eat a lot more recently and haven't been going to the gym, thus my current weight.  I've also gained inches back.

So, there's no where to go from here but up.  I'm trying to find motivation for myself again, but it's difficult & I'm not sure why.  I know I can do it!  I just need to start moving.  I think something that will help is that I'll be starting day shift soon.  This, to me, can't start soon enough, for various reasons.  First of all, I've been working nights for over two years now.  This has taken a toll on my health, and I don't think has helped with my weight.  Second, I'll be able to be on a normal schedule again!  I truly believe that this will help immensely with my weight loss.  Currently it's tough to discern when breakfast, lunch, and dinner are because I get off work, go to sleep for a few hours, get up & do some things, go to bed for a few more hours, get up & do some more things, take a short nap if I can, get up & get ready for work, go to work for 8 hours, and repeat.  My days off are fairly normal, but still.  I'm eating during those in between times when I'm up & at work, so when I can get a solid nights rest & have scheduled meals it'll help.

Here are my new rules for when I start days:
1) Up early every day so I can  get in some exercise, have a good breakfast & to get ready for work
2) Hit the gym after work
3) Workout on my days off, but have 1 day that is more of a "rest day" and do a fun, active thing such as a group sport or kayaking, etc
4) No meals after 7:30pm!!!
5) No more sodas
6) No more coffee, except for special occasions (I've been weaning myself off of coffee)
7) No more refined sugars (this is going to be a toughy!!!)
8) Little to no bread/refined grains/flowers

That's what I've got so far.  I'm going to try and start to implement some of these rules now, but the rest for sure once I move to days.  Here's to moving forward!!!

Hope you have a great day!
