I have come to the realization that I'm not so good at this whole blogging thing...but, I think I already knew that! lol! Sorry to those of you who read, or did at one point! I thought that I would come on here and give an update. So, here it goes...
Day shift is working out well, although my new plan didn't really go all that great. I had been partaking in the same old habits, and it didn't help that my coworkers go out to eat for lunch pretty much every day. Then, on June 19th, I started on a new product. I decided to try the 24 Day Advocare Challenge. It's a 10 day cleanse followed by a 14 day Max phase that's meant to boost your metabolism & start building lean muscle. So, while doing the challenge, eating properly, and exercising, here are my results:
Since that picture was taken 2 weeks ago, I have lost another 6" combined! My weight has gone up a little, but I'm not too worried about that. I'm happy that the inches continue to go down! I was wearing a size 18 skirt & now I'm in a 14!!! Ideally, I'd like to be in a size 10. I want to be fit, not skinny. One of my new favorite quotes is. "Skinny girls look good in clothes, fit girls look good naked." :)
So that's where I am at the moment. I've had some bumps along the way, but all in all I'm doing pretty well, if I do say so myself! I'm not nearly where I want to be, but I'm heading in the right direction. I'm loving the new found energy and benefits of becoming more healthy. Not eating as much, not being winded from simply walking from point A to point B. I'm starting to wake up before my alarm goes off! lol! I don't hit the snooze as often as I once did, and it's easier for me to get up and out of bed now. Though, I do allow myself 1 lazy day a week!
Well, I think that's about it for the moment. I'll TRY to blog more. I guess with the way I'm making progress I might actually stick to it!
